Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Batch ready mix concrete via computer batch plant control systems - Safely perform all the duties associated with batching concrete while actively supporting and participating in current safety program - Effective supervision of Ready Mix Drivers at site location - Batch plant/site maintenance including all environmental reporting - Maintain raw material inventories - Must be able to operate loader and skid steer - Must have a positive attitude - Work hours will vary and may require occasional nights and weekend work - Must be able to work overtime hours if needed - Other misc. duties as directed by division manager Wage Range: $33.00 - $35.29 Minimum Qualifications: - Must have good organizational skills and good communication skills as well as writing skills - Need to have basic computer and math skills - Must be able to maintain workflow in area of responsibility - Must be able to handle breakdowns and difficult situations - Knowledge of local area and market helpful - Previous ready mix experienced preferred - Ability to pass a criminal background check Additional Information Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits: -Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance -Health Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts -401K with Company Match -Profit Sharing -8 Paid Holidays -Paid Time Off -Life Insurance -Employee Assistance Program -Safety Incentives -Years of Service Recognition How To Apply To be considered for this position, candidates must complete and submit an employment application at jobs.kniferiver.com by the posting deadline noted above.
