Itron, Inc. Senior Partner Manager - Business & Technology Partner Management in Liberty Lake, Washington

The Partner Management team is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, contracting and ongoing management of technology partners, whose products are integrated with the Itron platform, and business partners, who influence and advise our customers. As a senior Partner Manager, you will play a critical role in the recruiting and management of information technology communications partners who enable Itron to deliver innovative connectivity to our customers and grow our revenue. This role will be focused on communications technology and services providers primarily in the cellular space including Mobile Network Operators, Mobile Virtual Network Operators, private cellular solution providers, and enabling networking equipment providers. Our Partner Management team works with a broad range of internal groups, including legal, product management, R&D, procurement, partner marketing, sales, technical support, operations, and finance, giving you high visibility and impact across our three product business units: Devices, Networked Solutions and Outcomes. Duties & Responsibilities: As part of the partner management team you will: Actively manage business and/or technology partners to enable innovative customer solutions and grow partner and Itron revenue. Work directly with product management to support line of business partnering strategy and goals. Participate in partner recruiting activities. Lead partner risk assessment process, implement risk mitigations actions where required. Manage the contracting process and negotiations with the partners. Track customer opportunities with partner solutions, ensuring accurate partner and internal forecasts. Flag roadblocks to partner success and support the resolution of those roadblocks with stakeholders. Support the refinement of the technology partner lifecycle process required to deliver on the dynamic and rapidly expanding partner ecosystem. Utilize and support the evolution of partner and performance management tracking tools. Actively and effectively communicate partner status and other partner content across multiple platforms and for multiple purposes. This may include tools like Yammer, Sharepoint, Salesforce, and Microsoft Teams. Required Experience & Skills: This position requires a minimum of 5 years of technology partner management. Experience with cellular communications technologies and cellular providers is required. Experience with deployment of telecommunications, wireless or other networks and products and/or enterprise scale software systems is desired. Working knowledge of the utility industry and metering network communications is desired. Ability to independently learn and develop associated knowledge and skills. Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and concurrent projects. Demonstrated strong collaboration skills and team player, cross-functional contributor and leader. Strong written and verbal communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to represent the Partner Management team across the company. Strong listening skills with the ability to identify basic issues and manage mitigation activities. Demonstrated selling skills is a benefit. Ability to ramp effectively and take ownership during ambiguous and time sensitive situations. Familiarity with products like Teams, Viva Engage, Sharepoint and Salesforce. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
