Itron's decades of experience is helping to ensure success in creating a more resourceful world.Itron's Global Benefits team is looking for a customer focused Benefits Associate to impact our employee experience and join the team at our Corporate Headquarters in Liberty Lake, WA. This role will work hybrid with a minimum number of days in the office each week.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Handle, respond to and resolve benefits inquiries from internal constituents via Itron's HR Helpdesk which operates from 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. PSTAnswer routine telephone, e-mail and instant message benefit related inquiries and issues from employees, utilizing professional workplace communication skills.Serve as first line of response to provide corporate benefits information including, but not limited to: health and welfare benefits, employee stock purchase plan, 401K plan, paid time off, short term disability, long term disability, wellness and HR policies and programs.Research and investigate information to bring resolution to standard problems, inquiries and issues including follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.Maintain and grow understanding of Itron's benefits programs, including eagerness and ability to learn complex benefit plans and matrixed systems and engage with benefits vendorsTrack and document helpdesk inquiries, and recommendations to refine internal HR Helpdesk policies and procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of helpdesk operations.Support and sometimes lead HR Benefit program and project tasks including documentation and reporting on regular benefits processes, programs, and projects.Tracking and reporting on regular benefit programs and projects through use of Excel and other workplace technologiesAssist with database testing and benefit or payroll related data clean up in conjunction with the corporate benefits team.Lead Global Wellness Program implementation and administration and collaborate with others throughout the global organization to drive program successLead Communication Projects including implementation and administrationAssist in day-to-day administrative functions in support of Benefits team. Collaborate, timely and efficiently, with internal and external stakeholders.Experience: This position typically requires 3+ years of customer service experience. Experience working on a corporate benefits team is preferred.Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are required, including experience creating pivot tables and performing v-lookups.Professional workplace communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with a diverse and global employee populationAbility to deliver a positive customer service experience to internal stakeholders with attentiveness, empathy and emotional intelligence, creativity and resourcefulnessEagerness and ability to learn complex, matrixed and dynamic benefits programs and policies.Travel: 1 - 10%Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.Itron is proud to be an .
