About the Role:

In this role you will use your skills as a writer, editor, and content organizer to create, update and improve operational procedures and related documentation used across the organization.

  • Create/improve operational materials with accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Content includes policies, procedures, forms, quick-reference guides, job aids, internal communications, and more.

  • Collaborate with process owners and subject matter experts to understand the content and document new or changed processes. Help ensure content aligns with Bank and industry rules and regulations.

  • Ensure procedures are consistent and meet documented standards and follow the style guide.Help contributors create compelling, standards-compliant content.

  • With the team, develop and maintain the style guide, and documentation and content experience standards and processes, as well as refine, implement, and monitor departmental procedures. Track progress against key content initiatives.

About You:

  • At least two years technical writing and editing experience.

  • Ability to create or revise technical/support documentation involving multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts.

  • Ability to manage time and prioritize a workload to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet or exceed expectations.

  • Ability to understand and communicate within a technical or specialized subject matter, particularly as it pertains to bank systems and the banking industry.

  • Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.

  • Practical knowledge of various Agile and Continuous Delivery practices and disciplines.

  • Relationship builder.

  • Strong active listening skills and attention to detail.

  • Some experience creating forms with form fields using a variety of software (such as Word, Excel, PDF, SharePoint, or Microsoft forms), preferred.

  • Experience using Styles and/or CSS.

  • Knowledge and use of Madcap Flare and Madcap Central (or other desktop publishing software).

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint in daily work.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or business, or equivalent job experience

  • Experience using AP Style, preferred.

  • Banking industry experience (lending and/or deposit operations), preferred.

  • Technical writing and/or editing certificate, preferred.

Workstyle: Fully onsite.

Our Benefits:

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $55,000.0 to $70,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
