Skookum is seeking a flexible and dependent Stock Clerk with a professional attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Checks with DOL Central Receiving point twice daily for shipments. Coordinates with DOL to get shipments delivered to CIF. Verifies shipping receipts are accurate for all items leaving or arriving at CIF. Ensures that quantities are accurate for all items leaving or arriving at CIF. Operates forklift, as needed. Inspects forklift for maintenance requirements or safety concerns daily and maintains logbook for inspections. Assists management in stock record functions pertaining to the distribution, issue, and turn-in of OCIE. Inspects individual items and determines serviceability, proper classification, cleanliness, and other considerations in the sorting and inventorying of such items. Assists with periodic inventories related to the shipping, receiving, and stocking of the warehouse. Assists with annual warehouse inventory. Assists in maintaining general cleanliness of the warehouse. Qualifications: 3-5 years relevant work experience in retail/warehouse operations preferred. Knowledge of supply management procedures and techniques. Demonstrated success in projects involving warehouse and supply operations. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common productivity and quality reports. Able to respond to inquiries and complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community. Demonstrated computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
