Not every manufacturer will have razor thin tolerance levels. Not every manufacturer will personally oversee the development, design and machining of every part that comes off the line. We’re not every manufacturer.
The Opportunity.The Shipping Associate works with the Shipping Team to process all outgoing orders or product. A Shipping Associate is responsible for contributing to the team by performing various assigned tasks in the Shipping Warehouse.
The Job.Maintain a positive workplace environment that promotes; safety quality, trust and teamwork. Pick, verify, and pack outgoing product. Package, address, label, and stage outgoing shipments. Understand and use appropriate shipping methods for orders. Assisting with department operations as needed. Inspecting Incoming materials. Communicating and notifying appropriate staff of potential quality issues. Stock incoming product. Ensure shipping is always organized, clean, and meets compliance factors. Demonstrate sense of urgency in cross-functional environment.
Requirements
1 or more years of shipping and/or warehouse experience
Strong communication skills
Attention to Detail
Basic computer skills
Must be “hands-on” and assist in daily operations
Must maintain regular and punctual attendance
Problem-Solving, Dependability, Time Management
Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility
Forklift Certification preferred
