Description

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter in Lakewood, WA to join our team in the education sector. This role is primarily focused on the management of the recruitment process. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting candidates, coordinating with hiring committee members, and managing new hire onboarding. This role is 100% on-site in Lakewood, WA.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing candidates using a variety of resources and strategies

• Evaluating and qualifying open roles

• Setting up and coordinating meetings with hiring committee members

• Sending out offer letters and running background checks

• Generating staffing reports and scheduling interviews

• Managing the new hire onboarding process

• Utilizing software such as MS Office, Outlook, PeopleSoft, and NEOEd for various HR tasks

• Maintaining active communication with hiring managers and other HR team members

• Ensuring compliance with recruitment policies and procedures

• Managing the evaluation of requisition requests, position descriptions, and position postings.

Requirements • University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

• Proficiency in Applicant Track System

• Experience conducting Background Checks

• Knowledge of Corporate Recruiting practices

• Proven experience in Talent Acquisition

• Ability to Conduct Interviews effectively

• Experience in Proactive Sourcing of candidates

• Familiarity with Recruitment - Sourcing strategies and practices

• Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter for talent sourcing

• Understanding of Skilled Trades recruitment
