Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $21.00 to $33.25 (Experienced Post-Tension Fabricators encouraged to apply. What You'll Do:
Join Nucor Rebar Fabrication Lake Stevens! Our Post Tension Team is working on projects across the US West; extrude, shear, bundle, and ship post-tensioning cable in accordance with customers orders. Youll work with a mentor who will train you on safely using all machinery. No experience is required.
Your Responsibilities Unload trailers and store material in storage bins. Operate shearline and payout post-tensioning cable equipment to cut cables to specific lengths. Operate extrusion line to coat post-tensioning cable. Manually move and/or operate hoist to move post-tensioning cables. Operate fork-lift. Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping. Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future Must be age 18 or over Due to the operating conditions of the position, this is a safety sensitive position, therefore you must pass a drug test, including THC
Your Qualifications:
Able to read and comprehend basic safety and operational instructions Able to perform basic math for accurate bar measurements
Physical Demands:
Some heavy lifting may be necessary Working conditions can be noisy/ dusty/ hot/ cold
