The Shorelands & Environmental Assistance{rel="nofollow"} (SEA) program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a WCC Training and Development Coordinator (Environmental Planner 3) position.  This position can be located in the following offices: 

Headquarters Office in* *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"}

Northwest Region Office (NWRO) *in Shoreline, WA{rel="nofollow"}. *Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA{rel="nofollow"}. Eastern Region Office (ERO) in Spokane, WA{rel="nofollow"}.

 

Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

* Please Note:* If the final location of this position is determined to be in our Northwest Region Office (NWRO) in Shoreline, WA{rel="noopener" target="_blank"}. there will be an additional 5% pay increase due to its location in King County. In this instance the salary range will be $5,608 - $7,543 per month. 

In this role, you will be leading the development and delivery of quarterly training opportunities for corps members in the WCC. You will be responsible for the development of the WCC's Career Development plan for members and will develop resources & supports for members, crew supervisors, partners and program support staff to be effective in achieving this goal.

* * *Program Mission: *The mission of the Shorelands and Environmental Assistance Program is to create community conservation partnerships to protect and restore our shorelands, wetlands, and floodplains. Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) is an AmeriCorps program within SEA that creates future leaders through community involvement and mentorship. We have more than 350 members and experienced staff statewide who restore critical habitat, build trails, and respond to local and national disasters. Through AmeriCorps, WCC provides hands-on experience, field skills, and training opportunities to young adults (between age 18 and 25) and military veterans.  

* Please Note*: This is a project position that is funded until 09/30/2025. The Funding for this position has a high probability of being renewed.
