The* Shorelands & Environmental Assistance{rel="nofollow"} (SEA) program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill the *Shorelands and Environmental Assistance Program Budget Manager (WMS Band 2) position. This position is located* in our *Headquarters Office in* *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station. In this role, you will support Ecology's and SEA's missions by managing the SEA Program budget. Working closely with the Office of Chehalis Basin's Financial Manager and the SEA Program Management Team, you will develop implementation plans, approve expenditures, and ensure efficient resource use through accurate analysis and informed recommendations. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance on decision-making with significant agency impact and serve as fund manager for the Flood Control Assistance Account.

Program Mission: *The mission of the *Shorelands and Environmental Assistance Program is to create community conservation partnerships to protect and restore our shorelands, wetlands, and floodplains. Tele-work options for this position: *This position will have flexibility of a hybrid schedule, empowering work from home and office, providing less time in traffic and shrinking your carbon footprint.
