Providence St. Joseph Health RN - Hospice in Lacey, Washington

Description This position involves certified nursing work managing the plan of care for Hospice patients. This position provides direct health care services to Hospice patients and their families in their homes, and must demonstrate independent clinical expertise throughout the nursing process. This position works collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary hospice team, and oversees the work of appropriate caregivers (such as Hospice Aides and/or LPN) to ensure quality patient care and to enhance the quality of life of dying patients. This position is supervised by a Hospice Clinical Manager, through patient care documentation and electronic medical records, written and verbal communication, and direct observation of patient care. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Nursing experience. 1 year Hospice, home health, skilled nursing facility, medical/surgical, or oncology.
