The Administrative Services Division *within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill three *Public Disclosure Specialist (Management Analyst 3) positions. The positions are locatedin our *Headquarters Office in* *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

By supplying records and natural resource data, your work will serve a significant purpose - enabling the public to make informed and crucial decisions.

 

Leverage your creativity and innovation to develop and implement new and evolving methods for streamlining the intake, tracking, coordination, review, processing, and production of records in compliance with the Public Records Act (RCW 42.56{target="_blank" rel="noopener"}). Your experience and passion will enhance decision-making and a transparent, accountable government, while your timely and responsive service will help Ecology achieve its mission of clean air, land, and water.

 

You will gain new skills and boost your professional portfolio in a field that is increasing in complexity with the growth of siloed cloud data services, AI, and disparate information. You will be responsible for creating and managing communication bridges between the public, public records staff, and program/region staff to ensure public record productions are timely, accurate, and compliant. You will collaborate closely with Ecology's Public Records Officer, Information Governance Manager, eDiscovery team, and program/region staff. At times you may provide back-up support to program or region staff when request volume or staffing levels are critical and will travel to regional offices when needed.     Agency Mission: *Ecology's mission is to protect, preserve and enhance the environment for current and future generations.  *

*Telework options for this position: *These positions will have flexibility of a hybrid schedule, empowering work from home and office, providing less time in traffic and shrinking your carbon footprint.
