The Air Quality Program{rel="nofollow"} (AQP)within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an *Overburdened Communities Grants Specialist (Environmental Specialist 4) *position. This position is located in our *Headquarters Office in* *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

Do you possess a background in grant programs or working collaboratively in overburdened communities? Do you have a passion for improving air quality and advancing environmental justice throughout Washington State?    As an Overburdened Communities Grant Specialist, you will play an integral role in the development and implementation of the Improving Air Quality in Overburdened Communities Grant Program. You'll have a key role in reducing emissions and improving air quality in communities highly impacted by air pollution. If you possess the ability to address highly complex issues using data, collaboration, critical thinking skills and expert communication abilities, we welcome you to apply!   The mission of the Air Quality Program (AQP) is to protect and improve air quality in Washington. The Air Quality Program's vision is clean, healthy air for all of Washington.     Tele-work options for this position: *This position will be eligible for up to a 80% tele-work schedule with a two day in office requirement for the first six months. Applicants with questions about position location options, tele-work, and flexible or compressed schedules are encouraged to reach out to the contact person listed below in "other information."
