Olympic Region Section 106/Cultural Resources Lead (TPS4) *Lacey, WA -- Olympic Region   $76,608 -- $103,008 Annually  * Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a skilled Transportation Planning Specialist 4 to act as a Cultural Resources Lead for the Olympic Region (OR). This position independently surveys, analyzes, and evaluates cultural resources in support of OR's projects and the agency's mission. Responsibilities include locating, recording, and evaluating cultural resources for regulatory compliance requirements; reviewing consultant scopes of work, deliverables and invoices; evaluating consultant performance; providing region, mode, and project support for cultural resources issues relating to ongoing transportation projects; providing expert advice and technical information to the region; consulting with interested stakeholders; and facilitating project delivery.
