CITY OF LACEY Maintenance Assistant in LACEY, Washington
Reporting to the Parks, RAC, or Right of Way Senior Maintenance Technician, the Maintenance Assistant assists the Parks Maintenance Department in grounds maintenance in right of ways, parks, trails, and undeveloped properties owned by the City. Performs semi-skilled, routine, and basic labor, repair, general upkeep, and grounds care work using small tools and non CDL equipment. Many work assignments are routine and can be performed independently and with limited supervision. Maintenance Assistants are utilized at the RAC, in the parks Division and on the Rapid Response Team. Specific duties vary depending on the work of the team. The schedule for this position is Tuesday-Friday, 11:30am to 8:00pm, and Saturday, 6:00am to 2:30pm. A first review of applications will occur on Monday, May 20th.
