Providence St. Peter Hospital (Outpatient Clinic) Behavioral Health and Recovery Center - Lacey, WA

SCHEDULE: 0.5 FTE; averaging 20 hours per week. Monday-Wednesday: 9a-2:30p PST. Thursday: 12:30p-6p PST. Friday-Sunday: OFF.

Office Assistants perform a variety of clerical duties in support of patient care and department operations. Duties focus on clerical processes and customer service, and involve patient scheduling, maintaining documents, files, and data base records; typing correspondence and other material; coordinating internal and external phone communications; extracting and compiling data; and other clerical functions.

Work at the Office Assistant III level typically involves a variety of clerical and customer service skills requiring independence, judgment, and initiative in determining how the work is performed and appropriate actions to be taken. Customer service presents challenges of difficult and sensitive situations.

Required Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • 2 years Clerical experience preferably in a healthcare setting.
