Keeping Washington Clean and EvergreenThe Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an IT Application Developer - Journey (In-Training) position. This position is located in our Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station. In this role, you will be a part of a team of 4 ITSO employees and 2 Financial Office employees who support the EAGL system. Currently, there are 3 IT staff: an Application Developer Senior level, an Application Developer Journey level, and an Application Developer Journey level In-Training. This new Application Developer Journey In-Training position will create capacity for peak work-load events and allow more backup and variety of assignments for the whole EAGL Support Team. Employees in this role generally spend less than one day per month in the physical office building, as nearly all the work can be accomplished from remote work locations. It is a requirement that while employed by the State of Washington, employees’ primary residence must be within the State of Washington.
