This position at the American Legions Auxiliary Department of WA (ALADW) is a NON Profit organization that supports the Veterans. The job entails account receivables and payables for membership dues and contribution and donations from Units and sponsors who give to the veterans and a long range of other programs. The position requires the person to know and have worked with quick-books and excel, word. Monthly financial reports have to be prepared and reported to the executive committee and finance chairman. At times (few), there may travel within the state for conferences and conventions which would expand the work hours and days. The regular tasks can be done in 20 hours or less a week with 4 hours a day or 2 and 1/2 days per week, which this would be negotiated prior to hiring. This job requires a reliable person who can work independently and work well with the members of the organization.
