Hotel Planter Boutique Hotel Services Attendent in La Conner, Washington

We are seeking a Boutique Hotel Services Attendant to become a part of our team! You will accommodate patrons, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Register and assign rooms to guests
  • Confirm phone and online reservations
  • Checks guests in
  • Answers incoming calls and responds accordingly
  • Respond to guest needs, requests, and complaints
  • Creates, modifies, and cancels guest reservations per guest requests while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Processes guest payments
  • Keep records of occupied rooms and guests
  • Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments
  • Responds to guest requests and in doing so provides exceptional customer service to all guests and visitors of the hotel, cleaning of guest rooms - Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and while performing these duties, adheres to company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains overall hotel cleanliness
  • Wash/dry/put away, bed linens and guest towels
  • Replenish guest amenities - Towels, Shampoos, Conditioners, Soaps, Coffee, Teas, etc.
  • Removes trash from rooms and the facility
  • Stocks cleaning cart as needed and maintains the utility/laundry room and front desk area
  • Reports all maintenance and low inventory issues to management
  • Reports any left guest items to management immediately
  • Compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures
  • Performs duties as assigned by management

?Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with guests
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Background or work related experience in hospitality/customer service is preferred but not required. Willing to train the right individual.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, moving about the facility
  • Must be able to push/pull/lift objects up to 50lbs.
  • Takes pride in the work they do
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
  • Attention to detail
  • Willing to submit to a criminal background check if a position is offered
