U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief SUPV INSPECTION/TEST/QA & TRAINING DIV HEAD in Kitsap County, Washington
You will serve as a Supervisory Inspection/Test/QA & Training Division Head in the Lifting and Handling Department of PSNS and IMF.
You will be responsible for the effective and efficient overall direction, planning, organizing, controlling, monitoring, training and management of the division in order to provide inspection, test, and quality assurance and training services.
You will provide managerial and administrative duties associated with the operation of the division and establish goals and objectives and oversee implementation.
You will manage through subordinate supervisors the inspection, testing, quality assurance and training functions in order to enable the Lifting and Handling Department to perform mission related functions.
You will ensure the development and formulation of the division's budget for all labor, equipment, materials, training, etc., for the fiscal year.
You will develop, administer and implement a shipyard audit and surveillance program which includes all aspects of the lifting and handling program in order to indemnify and correct program issues.
Conditions of Employment
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, evaluating, planning and implementing resources that provide inspection, test, quality assurance and/or training services to a weight handling program. Examples of qualifying experience may include: establishing long range plans of workload resources (e.g. training, budget and personnel); establishing goals, objectives and implementation; and directing the application of policy on inspection, testing and/or quality assurance issues.
