NetAcquire Corporation Technical Support Specialist in Kirkland, Washington

NetAcquire Corporation, a Kirkland-based manufacturer of specialized computer solutions for aerospace test and evaluation programs, has an opening for a Technical Support Specialist. This role provides first-line hardware, software, and/or applications technical support to NetAcquire users. We are a growing company looking for a technical and detail-oriented person to add to the team. This position has a schedule of 40 hours per week. This is an on-site position with no work from home opportunities.

Responsibilities:

The Technical Support Specialist should expect to perform many different duties, such as:

  • Provide knowledgeable technical support and troubleshooting guidance pertaining to NetAcquire systems and software
  • Communicate electronically and by telephone with customers to determine, document, and resolve issues
  • Partner directly with NetAcquire customers when diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
  • Consult internal resources to research and implement solutions for customer issues
  • Coordinates with the sales and production teams while resolving issues
  • Document issue records with details and solutions for future use
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while staying within our technical support scope guidelines
  • Participate in customer training during our training events, and on-site customer training as needed
  • Continuous improvement of support materials and processes
  • Work closely with the product development team throughout the support case lifecycle
  • Contribute to our product issue tracking (GitHub)
  • Collaborate with the test team to augment product test coverage
  • Participate in the development and refinement of customer-facing documentation
  • Key player in Customer Support Team process evolution and improvement
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A degree in a technical discipline such as computer science or electronic engineering, or an equivalent blend of education and experience in technical support, desktop support, or a similar role in a fast-paced technology environment
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux
  • High level of dedication to customer satisfaction
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in an environment with changing requirements and shifting schedules
  • Eager to learn and grow continuously

  • Prior experience with telemetry products
  • Coding and web technology backgrounds
  • Computer hardware experience
  • Digital technology savvy
  • Experience training others
  • Other complementary skillsets or disciplines

Physical Requirements:

  • Working on a computer and sitting at a desk full time
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
