CrowdStrike, Inc. Full time R18620 About the Role: Am I a Technical Sales Instructional Designer Candidate?

  • Can you break down complicated topics and figure out how best to help people learn them, constructing a coherent learning story?

  • Are you great at creating slides and written material?

  • Have you created course material in the past that was easily delivered in person, online, and pre-recorded? Did you use a Learning Management System to deliver the courses, as well as a classroom?

  • Have you produced recorded material yourself, assembling the visual and narrative elements, creating video, audio and visual learning aids?

  • Do you have experience in developing training for both technical and soft skills?

  • Can you tell a story with a point, using the elements of the story to cement the knowledge?

What You'll Do:

  • Establish and maintain a technical sales new hire onboarding and certification program.

  • Perform discovery and front end analysis of training requests to determine validity and approval of requests, determine the level of effort (resource wise) to develop approved training requests.

  • Project manage learning solutions through the coordination of meetings, meeting facilitation, tasking of SMEs, and setting of milestones for deliverables.

  • Work effectively at a distance: interact and integrate globally with co-workers, leadership, and end-users using distance learning technology.

  • Create materials for delivery via ILT or e-learning on a learning management system (a computer-based training site) on sales and the buying journey of a customer from initial interest to post-sales adoption.

  • Create high-quality video presentations on the various CrowdStrike product modules.

  • Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions as needed.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert to trainers and sales professionals to create and refine course material for custom delivery that can then be used for repeat delivery to other clients.

  • Review assessments and survey data to determine effectiveness of training in order to update or create net new training to address identified training gaps.

What You'll Need: Successful candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas. You should have some background in education, but you don't need an Ed.D. If you've taught formally or informally before, think about how that experience could extend to this position.

  • Education: experience creating material on technical topics for a wide variety of audiences, from desktop support technicians to C-level executives.

  • eLearning Development tools: experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline Suite, Vyond, Canva preferred

  • Experience with one or more of the following domains:

    • Incident Response and Remediation

    • Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering

    • Sales and/or sales enablement programs support experience

Additionally, all candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills.

  • Capable of completing tasks on time without supervision.

  • Desire to grow and expand both technical and soft skills.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
