The R&D Engineering Intern will contribute their skills and ideas to support the Kenworth R&D Engineering team on a combination of advanced development and current projects. They will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers as well as technicians to design and build future KW designs for evaluation and test. Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern who will play a pivotal role in supporting both our Industrial Design and Product Planning teams. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in graphic design with a strong emphasis on internal and external branding strategies, while closely collaborating with industrial designers and product planners to enhance product presentation and messaging. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit. Key Responsibilities: Brand Development: Conceptualize visual brand assets that inspire new marketing initiatives and drive future brand guidelines. Bring a fresh perspective to the future visual identity of Kenworth brand assets, with an emphasis on creating consistency across brand touchpoints. Graphic Design: Design compelling graphics for various applications, including product promotional materials, social media content, and presentations that reflect the essence of our products. Collaboration with Industrial Design: Work closely with the Industrial Design team to translate product concepts and features into effective visual communications that enhance the brand narrative. When needed, assist the Industrial Design and Engineering teams with the creation of any branded assets on our vehicles, including interior and exterior badges, trailer visuals, and special edition features.
