Description

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Kirkland, Washington. This role involves numerous responsibilities including maintaining the general ledger, invoice processing, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of financial regulations and will be tasked with implementing financial controls and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Handle vendor invoice processing and manage AP aging reports

• Generate customer invoices and monitor receivables

• Conduct monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts and balance sheets

• Develop and implement financial controls to ensure accurate accounting of assets and accounts

• Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and income statements

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

• Utilize software for managing bills, payments, and financial reporting

• Respond to queries from senior management regarding financial results and special reporting requests

• Support CFO on various projects as necessary or assigned

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $125,000 + bonus.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrated experience in handling General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Experience with project management tools such as monday.com

• Expertise in Financial Reporting and Process Vendor Invoices

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in handling Customer Invoices and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Strong understanding of Financial Control and ability to produce Cash Flow Statements and Income Statements

• Demonstrated ability in Process Improvement and ensuring Financial compliance

• Experience in Month End Close operations

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Must have relevant professional certification such as a CPA

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws regarding accounting, finances, and taxation.
