Our non-profit client is looking for a senior communications & media relations manager to join their team full time! This role has an initial term of 1 year, but has the potential to become a permanent need. It is also hybrid, with 2-3 days onsite in Kirkland, WA. In this role you will: - travel with the high profile founder of the non-profit for media events both international and domestic - develop the 2025 strategy to shape the founders public reputation - work with the client's PR agency, executing communication strategy based on their research - give feedback and prepare the founder - book events and media relations activities - work with top tier media groups like NPR and the NY Times The ideal Senior Communications & Media Relations Manager will have: - 10+ years of experience - experience working with someone who is high profile (thing CEOs of fortune 500 companies, celebrities with large followings, etc.) - Media relations experience with media groups like NPR and the NY Times - experience working with a mix of agency and corporate clients - international media relations experience is a BONUS Our client offers medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
