Relief Veterinarian - Criticalist
BluePearl in Kirkland is seeking a boarded or residency-trained Critical Care veterinarian for locum work. Schedule will alternate with our current criticalist as we look to hire 2 more critical care veterinarians.
Active DVMlicense in specific state is required and at least threeyears of Emergency experience.
Specialty and ER veterinary experience a plus.
We have rotating and specialty interns, with teaching being a focus of our critical care team and other specialists. Our hospital sees a high volume of critical and specialty cases. This allows us to practice the highest level of veterinary medicine in an environment that promotes a team approach to patient care.
The 20,000-square-foot hospital houses a highly qualified team who deliver veterinary care 24 hours a day, 7 days per week in emergency medicine, cardiology, critical care, internal medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, clinical pathology, surgery, radiology and diagnostic imaging. The latest diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities offered in the Kirkland hospital include digital radiography, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, electro-chemotherapy, CO2 LASER, a dedicated intensive care unit, full service in-house laboratory, and rehabilitation services. Our hospital has a VTS in anesthesia and a VTS in Emergency and Critical Care who support an in-house technician training program. We currently support an internship and residency program that promotes a learning atmosphere. The team at SVS believes in collaborative medicine between all departments to provide patients comprehensive care.
