The National Zero Emissions Field Service Manager position requires a strong proactive focus on customer service. Excellent organization skills and superior communication skills, both written and verbal are a necessity. Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities, the ability to maintain composure, and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders is critical to success in this position. The candidate must also possess a solid understanding of Class 6/7/8 chassis and battery electric vehicle knowledge gained through prior experience in Field Service, Dealership Service, Operations, Customer Service management or engineering. This position will be located in: Remote - Near Major Airport Position Functions / Responsibilities Provide technical support for Kenworth battery electric vehicles to maintain the best possible uptime. This will require rapid engagement and involvement, oftentimes in person for vehicles in both US and Canada Negotiate Warranty and Policy settlements with Fleets and Dealers on vehicle issues Provide early warning corrective action feedback and field solutions to battery electric field issues to reduce operational and warranty costs Work closely with engineering and key supplier partners to continually improve EV systems and processes Provide Sales and Marketing Support as required Share information and offer training resources to ensure technicians, and other Kenworth field staff are adequately trained and certified on all Kenworth battery electric products Assist in the management of field cases related to litigations, property loss, and other legal actions affecting Kenworth and PACCAR as assigned Travel 50%, sometimes on short notice. A valid passport is required with ability to travel throughout US and Canada Skills & Competencies A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related required 5+ years of related experience required Supervisory experience and/or an MBA are preferred The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with key customers and operations personnel, suppliers, and Kenworth management to resolve issues in a positive and efficient manner Strong interpersonal skills are required, and the candidate must demonstrate independent judgment The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities, keep management well-informed, and display perseverance in bringing issues to resolution Technical Skills required include experience in the following areas with Kenworth or similar products and systems Kenworth Battery Electric Product: Cab Systems (Mechan
