Aerotek HR Generalist in Kirkland, Washington
Local non-profit is currently hiring for a contract HR Generalist. Organization provides resources for youth in the community!
Onboarding will be the biggest piece of this role (25%) - Pre-employment, inputting data into internal HRIS system, one-on-one orientation, offboarding...etc. (will be handling around 23 internal hires a week).
HR Generalist may also help out with the recruiting team from time to time such as performing initial phone screens
Support with process involving Leave Administration, EEO, FLMA, PFML, FFLA and FFCRA.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of local compliance as well as FMLA, I9, EEO, PFML, FFLA...etc.
Knowledge and experience of Onboarding
Candidates local to Kirkland, WA or greater Seattle area (if this role moves into an FTE in the future potentially, although the work itself can be fully remote during contract)
Experience with FFCRA and/or handling leave administration involved with COVID
Any prior experience working with/in a non-profit organization
Relevant volunteer work
PHR or SHRM-CP certification
