Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
14 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or consulting, or 12 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience building and leading a team.
Experience in working with large data sets.
Experience leading cross-functional project teams through problem-structuring, with the ability to communicate insights to highly-technical management teams.
Familiarity with data center economics and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS business models.
Ability to communicate clearly and influence effectively, combined with impeccable business judgment, analytical and financial modeling skills.
Ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment, and maintain executive presence and perspective in the midst of changing timelines and rapid decision making.

Our Cloud Product Finance team leads the financial management for Product, Engineering, and Operations teams that build and sell Google Cloud products, including both Google Cloud Platform and Workspace. We are a thought partner and trusted strategic adviser to the Google Cloud leadership team, advising on optimizing business economics while scaling hyper-growth businesses.
As Geo Expansion Finance Lead, you will partner with the Google Cloud Product and Engineering teams to achieve ambitious growth goals through optimizing the existing data center center footprint and strategically designing the footprint of the future.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Oversee all financial aspects of Google Cloud Platform data center launch planning, and long-range planning for existing infrastructure (including Google sites, third-party sites, and networking infrastructure).
Lead a team by managing their priorities, providing career advancement opportunities, and providing direction and thought leadership on strategic projects.
Develop and maintain close relationships with cross-functional executives and directors in Google Cloud Platform, Product Management, Technical Program Management, and Technical Infrastructure teams that are responsible for launching new regions and growing existing regions to meet and exceed Google Cloud Platform's long-term profitability goals.
Improve existing processes to drive greater transparency for finance leadership into new data center pipeline, impact on Google Cloud’s Profit and Loss, and strengthen finance oversight on approvals.
Launch new processes to uncover financial performance of data centers versus business plan, and annual operating plan.
