BluePearl Floating Internal Medicine Support Associate in Kirkland, Washington

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to join our team as a Floating Internal Medicine Support Associate. In this dynamic role, you will primarily provide support in your designated service but may also be called upon to assist across the hospital in various departments during periods of lower activity. This position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn new processes and workflows.

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 9 AM - 7 PM

Experience: 1-2 Years experience in the Veterinary field preferred

Pay band: $21.25 - $40.55/Hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Department-Specific Support:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations within your primary service, including administrative, clinical, or operational tasks as assigned.

  • Provide support to team members in completing departmental tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of duties.

  • Help maintain departmental organization and cleanliness

  • Hospital-Wide Floating Support:

  • During slow periods in your primary department, provide assistance to other departments hospital-wide as directed.

  • Perform general administrative duties such as sending prescription faxes, and attaching documents to patient medical records.

  • Support clinical teams by helping with patient-facing tasks, including scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and managing patient records.

  • Assist with non-clinical tasks such as inventory restocking.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Work closely with department supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and integration of floating support as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with team members across various departments to understand their needs and priorities.

  • Flexibility & Adaptability:

  • Quickly adapt to different departmental workflows.

  • Be available to shift between departments and responsibilities, depending on the hospital’s needs.
