Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. Corporate Investigator (Hybrid) - PINKERTONR5029 in Kirkland, Washington

The Corporate Investigator, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will be responsible for the completion of complex cases and projects including but not limited to workplace violence, threat management, asset protection, and misconduct. . This position will have a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote). Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Complete investigative processes, analysis, and reporting related to a wide variety of cases including but not limited to life safety/threat management (workplace violence, assault, harassment, stalking, domestic violence, and missing personnel), asset protection, misconduct including alleged violations of certain client policies, and miscellaneous issues including trespassing, unauthorized access, and vandalism.
  3. Conduct interviews with subjects and witnesses.
  4. Complete evidence identification, collection, retention, and dissemination of investigative information.
  5. Promote cooperation, innovation, and resourcefulness in obtaining information.
  6. Manage and maintain investigative case files.
  7. Prepare and as needed, present investigative reports/findings to management.
  8. View covert and overt video surveillance.
  9. Assist in the set-up and installation of basic analog and digital video surveillance equipment.
  10. Comply with the client's policy on the use of video surveillance equipment and related federal and state laws.
  11. Perform analytical and metric database tasks.
  12. Collaborate internally with cross functional groups such as legal, HR, and business suppliers/partners to enhance processes, workflows, tools, and system functionality.
  13. Partner with the client's internal investigative group and law enforcement agencies, as needed.
  14. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or formal corporate, government, military, or law enforcement investigation experience. Working knowledge of software, databases, social media platforms, and heat/target mapping is required.   • Industry relevant certifications such as CTM, CPP, PCI, PSP, preferred.
  • Computer forensic and recovery experience, preferred.
  • Strong investigative techniques, basic forensic/media analysis, and evidence handling proficiencies.
  • Able to classify and differentiate criminal investigation elements.
  • Able to work independently and complete cases and projects in a timely manner.
  • Able to manage multiple investigations concurrently.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work within a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Able to promote cooperation through innovative techniques, resourcefulness, and strategic thinking.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office, SQL, SharePoint, Power BI.
