The company's dedication to the green fleet includes aerodynamic trucks, compressed and liquefied natural gas trucks, and medium duty diesel-electric hybrids.This position supports the Kenworth organization as Business Continuity Manager, and is responsible for the management, development and implementation of a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) throughout the organization. This is an on-site positionat one of our manufacturing plants in Chillicothe, Ohio.Here's what you will do in this role:Coordinate business units and production areas with Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical time-sensitive functions and assigning Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs)Recommend recovery strategies and options to assist with the implementation of recovery solutionsWork with senior management to coordinate business continuity governance activitiesCoordinate and facilitate business continuity exercises / testingDevelop schedules for awareness / training for organizational and business unitSupport remote locations with 25% travelKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Experience with business continuity standards (ISO 22301, NFPA 1600)Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skillsStrong verbal and written communicationsExperience in managing a complex business continuity programExperience with real-word incident response or business disruption eventsExperience with conducting or coordinating risk assessments on critical business processes or operating locationsFamiliar with National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS)Experience with automated technology solutions to assist in the planning and updating of Business Impact Analysis (BIA's) and Business Continuity Plans Proficient with Microsoft Office Professional Suite Experience in developing, refining and coordinating enterprise-wide policies and proceduresStrong knowledge of local, state and federal emergency management organizationsWorking knowledge of business continuity operations, concepts, and methodologies Training and Experience LevelBachelor's Degree in a related field preferredMinimum 5 years experience working in Business Continuity or related fieldCertified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) preferredWhy Work for PACCAR/Kenworth?Global Fortune 500company with a wide array of growth and development opportunities.Work alongside experienced goal-oriented colleagues recognized as experts in their fields.Support and/or design the commercial vehicles of the future with a focus on emerging technologies such as electric and autonomous trucksM
