Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Property Management Department / Dept. 63 of the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC) of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA. In Keyport, WA. Responsibilities You will assist the Warehouse On-Site Lead with Operating Materials and Supplies program management. You will perform warehouse management/administrative functions, including conducting daily warehouse inventory management operations. You will establish warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to organize and locate assets. You will ensure and report on visibility and accountability of assets and compliance with governing policy and execute day to day warehouse operations. You will coordinate stockage and distribution of material with users and supply personnel to assure that sufficient material of correct kind is available to meet predicted need. You will serve on Explosives Qualification/Certification team member during explosive handling and loading evolutions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing supply support services associated with warehousing or inventory of supply materials. Specialized experience may include: Knowledgeable and competent use of Navy ERP Inventory and Warehouse management functionality, knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, and techniques; warehouse equipment and programs; computers; office applications; development and produce presentations and reports. Analyzing warehouse management operations and performing supply administrative functions to ensure accountability of an organization's assets. Examples of qualifying experience may include: Assisting the Warehouse On-Site Lead with OM&S program management; performing warehouse management/administrative functions; conducting daily warehouse inventory management operations; establishing warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to organize and locate assets; assuring and reporting on visibility and accountability of assets and compliance with governing policy; and executing to day to warehouse.
