Description: A Technical Systems Designer job in Kent, WA is currently available through Belcan. You will be responsible for creating models, drawings, and configurations of engine hardware. You will also participate in all aspects of design, analysis, assembly, testing, and support of flight operations. To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of an Associate's degree. Must be proficient in 3D CAD, utilizing CREO Pro/E and Pro/E Piping with Windchill PDM. Must have knowledge of fabrication and integration processes. Experience managing large CAD assemblies and with ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, and Y14.41. Seven plus years of experience designing/drafting structural parts, precision components, and/or subsystems is preferred. Technical Systems Designer Job Duties:
Create models, drawings, and configurations of engine hardware
Participate in all aspects of design, analysis, assembly, testing, and support of flight operations
Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
Implement engineering and manufacturing best practices
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
Proficient in 3D CAD, utilizing CREO Pro/E and Pro/E Piping with Windchill PDM
Knowledge of fabrication and integration processes
Experience managing large CAD assemblies and with ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, and Y14.41
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Seven plus years experience designing/drafting structural parts, precision components, and/or subsystems
Experience in component/assembly level structural/thermal FEA
Experience with rocket engine structural and fluid systems
