Children's Therapy Center Systems Administrator in Kent, Washington

  • Primary Responsibilities* /Build, Configure, and Maintain Systems/ * As a member if the IT Team, serve as help-desk support for the organization with primary responsibility being desktop support for end users. * Maintain inventory and configuration of end-user hardware, including thin clients and mobile devices. * Utilize and maintain help desk ticketing system to track, and report on, end-user support requests. * Refresh/recreate test, development, and sandbox environments as required. * Keep systems up-to-date with appropriate patches, firmware, and other fixes. Schedule necessary maintenance for systems, plan for downtime, and notify affected users if applicable. * Identify solutions for complex, non-standard requests and problems. * Regularly collect and trend performance data. Analyze and configure systems for optimal performance. * Research, vet and test technologies as directed. * Manage copier services and supply inventory. /Develop and Maintain System Documentation/ * Serve as a technical resource to others within the department, or other organization-wide committees. * Document systems, tools, processes and communicate effectively to all appropriate partners. * Deliver end-user education through how-to documents, videos, and in-person training. /General/ * Assist with standards development and quality improvement. * Assist in requirements gathering, development, and testing of new systems or system upgrades. * Assist with administrative duties such as attending conference calls, equipment tagging and surplus, and storage room cleanup, as needed. * Assist helpdesk with escalations of issues as needed. * Communicate clearly and effectively while contributing as a productive member of the IT team and the organization as a whole. Work closely with other team members and staff to assist with relevant tasks, coach new skills, and help resolve emerging problems on different projects. * Attend meetings, adhere to deadlines, and participate as a vital member to collectively advance team-level objectives. * Other duties as assigned Schedule This is a full-time position with a planned schedule of approximately 40 hours per week. The anticipated schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Occasional evening work from 7pm-9pm will be needed, approximately 1-2 times per month in order to meet the organizations IT maintenance needs. Schedule will be a hybrid of on site work 2-3 days per week with the rest of the time being remote. * */Preferred Skills/Abilities/ * Associates Degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years related work experience * Industry certs are a plus: Microsoft, CompTIA (A+/Sec+), VMware * 2+ years of experience working directly with end users/clients to provide solutions * 2+ years with Office 365 Administration (Including apps such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote) * 1+ year experience working with a ticketing management system * Experience with Active Directory and Windows server administration * Familiarity with VMware vSphere and Horizon Desktop * Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills * Strong time, resource management and customer service skills. * Ability to learn and support new and existing applications * Strong skillset for PC and peripheral troubleshooting and functions CTC’s Operations During Covid-19 In accordance with applicable State and Federal Orders, Children’s Therapy Center requires that all staff be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 on or before October 18, 2021, or before beginning employment; /unless by certified, document medical disability or religious accommodation./ Additional Information Children’s Therapy Center offers equitable and competitive pay commensurate with experience.
