Due to tremendous growth across the company, we are seeking an experienced Service Manager with a high customer service orientation to join our team in Seattle, WA servicing our healthcare commercial laundry customers there. The ideal candidates will have route sales/route management or hospitality industry experience and at least 3 years of experience managing people.

Our outstanding Service teams are a big part of the reason we successfully maintain customer retention rates of over 95%. Our service teams are interacting with our customers every day, delivering patient gowns, scrubs, lab coats, linens and more to our customers in medical offices, outpatient centers, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. Our Service Managers call on customers to ensure that they are consistently receiving excellent customer service. The primary focus of this position is to manage, direct, and develop all quality initiatives and aspects related to customer relations and service management

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hire, train, develop and coach our Customer Advocates/route sales drivers.

  • Responsible for training and certification of all compliance areas.

  • Daily execution of all service routes and customer interactions.

  • Route Logistics – Routing of Accounts.

  • Daily coaching, training, and monitoring of route performance through the check-in process.

  • Manage daily account functions. (audits, scrub counts, route reconciliations, truck maintenance logs, linen reconciliation, etc)

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of daily invoices.

  • Ensure service personnel compliance with company service and quality standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent managerial experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred

  • Willingness to travel locally 70% in the field

  • Ability to manage and maintain a recurring revenue stream

  • A clean driving record is required

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales opportunities and determine customer needs assessments

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, motivational, and customer service skills

  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, creativity, problem-solving, conflict management, and organizational skills

  • High energy with the ability to multi-task

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to manage a routed environment

  • Ability to train new hires as needed

  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs

  • Ability to tolerate moderate traffic scenarios on a weekly basis

  • Ability to manage and maintain a consistent physical workflow

  • Position requires strong time management skills as well as a results-oriented service mentality

  • Ability to maintain a pleasant and positive attitude under unpleasant and diverse situations
