We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer ( C++ C# .NET WPF) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with machine interfaces and sensors, as well as a solid background in math and physics. Locations - Remote/ Hybrid - Torino/Turin, Italy- Telford, UK, - Irvine, CA -Salt Lake City, Utah Job Responsibilities Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using C++, C# and .NET frameworks. Collaboration: Work closely with the other team members (product owner, tester) on both development and support tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional geographically dispersed teams to define, design, and ship new features as well as to perform support activities. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in software development. Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, backward and forward compatibility. Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit tests and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Testing and debugging online on coordinate measuring machines in lab is required. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed code and systems. Troubleshooting: resolve technical issues and bugs. As the team's responsibility is mostly related to driving hardware, it is required the ability to use the measuring machines in lab to reproduce and troubleshoot bugs. May include visits to customer's sites. Work environment: From home or in thelab depending on the context, 50/50 mix estimate. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or comparable experience. Experience: Proven experience as a C++, C# .NET Developer. WPF Expertise: Proven experience with WPF development, including MVVM patterns and creating intuitive user interfaces. Frontend Skills: Experience with UI/UX design tools. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git. Team Player: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Geometry & Math: Strong background in geometric computations and algorithms. Behavior: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with fluence in English. Hardware Experience: Experience with machine interfacing and sensors integration is necessary, specific experience on the Product and the hardware will be acquired with the team's support in lab.
