We have the perfect opportunity for you! As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and our customers receive top-notch service.

salary: $24.99 - $25 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Associate

Responsibilities

  • Ensures timely and efficient execution of purchase orders for suppliers and managing report.

  • Ensures execution of debit memos to suppliers for returned merchandise, works with receipts (Warehouse) to track and solve discrepancies.

  • Supports the Supplier Managers/Sub-Contract Managers by providing accurate and timely data. (e.g., packing list and invoice accuracy) to comply with treasury and accounting practices.

  • Email responses and actioning P.O. acknowledgments

  • Proof of Delivery Requests, Receiving discrepancies, RTV's of Noncompliant material

  • Late order report, emailing every supplier for late orders, looking up actual MRP on every line and determining the actual need date and quantity and providing that information to the supplier via email.

  • Phone calls to suppliers to check status when there is no response to a PO or late PO request.

  • Gatekeeper supplies, based on daily operations.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • manual lifting up to 50lbs

  • standing for 4 hours at one time

Skills

  • General Ledger

  • Purchase Orders (1 year of experience is preferred)

  • Accounts Receivable
