What are we looking for?We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized individual who can work with minimal direction and coordinatewithteams in the successful execution of engineeringhardware build supportactivities.

Managing Line-of balance and hardware tracking
Remove process roadblocks
Identifying hardware shortages
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers
Help manage the schedule in the scheduling tool and updates thereof
Champion Engineering Change Requests and risk mitigation activities to completion
Connect the dots between requirements and the qualification campaigns
Identify schedule-critical hardware, equipment, people, and facilities; resolve constraints
Coordinate with procurement, internal and external manufacturing to ensure that hardware priorities are understood and actively managed
Develop recovery strategies whennonconformancesor other escapes are identified
Take ownership of efforts from the program side including:-First article inspection work for AdditiveMfgParts-Identify EMI/EMC path forward-Fracture control for COTS valves
Material Review Boards/Engineering Review Boards for “upgrading” development hardware to flight status (impact / difference assessment and risk assessment).
Compare requirements/design for DevelopmentvsFlight versions
Education/Experience
- B.S./B.A. degree in engineering or other technical field
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
7+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the field of aerospace
Experience in valve hardware lifecycle
High pressure, hydraulic, propellant valve experience preferred
Good at mechanical components/mechanisms
Complicated customdesigns with integration experience
Integrate custom design and COTS
Systems engineering experience for requirement traceability
Crossdepartmentalcoordination
Component development/qualification test planning and execution background
High attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills
Demonstrated ability building trusting and effective working relationships that improve team performance and deliver results
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired Skills
- Mid-Career, Preferably systems engineering experience
