The Harbor Program Sales Healthcare Manager/Account Executive will provide service to contract accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. This position will work with a team of professionals that provide best-in-class service to a variety of customers and can communicate effectively with all levels of management. This position is for the Greater Puget Sound area. This position directly reports to the Senior Director of Program Sales.

The pay range is between $85,000.00 annually and $115,000.00 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Support street sales team on Healthcare accounts in a manner that will ensure customer satisfaction while achieving sales and case growth goals and other KPI's as assigned.
  • Work in the Harbor distribution footprint at least twice per week, supporting street sales in current and prospect accounts to gain new business.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Program Sales to coordinate all DMA Healthcare directives, processes, and strategies.
  • Support the street sales team with bringing in the needed contracted and requested products that meet the Harbor stocking requirements.
  • Strategically plan customers visits to cultivate relationships, perform presentations, offer innovative programs, and manage customer performance metrics to the terms of their contract.
  • Utilize effective communication to keep customers and all Harbor departments updated on activities monthly.
  • Host Healthcare training/meetings to support the street sales team monthly.
  • Create and update Healthcare projects, processes, and data into a shared space for all to utilize when needed.
  • Attend and present at sales-related meetings and activities when requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Healthcare sales in the Foodservice Distribution industry is required.
  • Computer skills required: a strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel in Washington and Oregon, up to 40% of the time, dependent on business requirements.
  • Ability to travel to other states as Harbor's healthcare distribution footprint grows and also to support healthcare conferences for Harbor and DMA.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and organization is vital; must work well in groups and manage time and workload effectively.
  • Experience in working with contracts, GPO's and contract customers is strongly required.
  • High school equivalency required, with a college degree preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
