MV Transportation Outreach Coordinator in Kent, Washington

Job Description Overview If you reside in California, please see our California Applicant Privacy Policy for more information about our data handling practices and your data rights: Responsibilities MV Transportation is seeking an Outreach Coordinator who is responsible for the intake of transit instruction referrals and answering questions from the public. He/she will coordinate work amongst all the Transit Instructors, consolidate data into monthly reports, and individual case files, and will promote Transit Instruction opportunities to local service agencies, multiple referral sources and community outreach. Responsibilities: Conduct community outreaches to inform interested persons and community agencies of the services provided by the Transit Instruction and Group/Ramp Trainings currently being offered. Recruit individuals who may qualify for and benefit from the program. Establish an on-going targeted outreach program for agencies, organizations, and residential facilities representing persons who may become certified as ADA Paratransit Eligible and appropriate for Transit Include a process for tracking all outreach activities, including contact dates, results of contacts, names and phone numbers of people involved, time spent, referrals received, and a method for identifying and resolving any concerns about the Forward concerns regarding bus, rail, or paratransit service to the County. Periodically re-contact representatives of target groups to offer opportunities for individual and group Transit Transit Instruction Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the intake of transit instruction referrals and answering questions from the public. Must work closely with the Program Manager daily, to ensure all tasks our being met. Daily and monthly reporting per King County Requirements Coordinates work amongst all the Transit Instructors according to the current contract. Consolidates Data into monthly reports and individual case files. Promotes transit instruction services to local social service Screen referrals from the County and other sources to determine if proposed training is appropriate and supported by the family/support group. Intake of transit instruction referrals and answering questions from the public. Process Referrals for, the Not Transit Trained (NTT) and Not Qualified (NQ) Clients. Qualifications Talent Requirements: BA degree or higher is preferred or five (5) years of experience in Transportation Office Management and Sales or related management field. Transportation and Paratransit experience is preferred. Must have a valid Driver's license, excellent driving record, proof of insurance, and own transportation. Must have a strong user knowledge of Word and Excel. Customer service skill in the field, and cold calling experience. Must have experience in identifying new opportunities and demonstrate the ability to use current marketing techniques to attract new clientele and build relationship with existing customers. Have a dedicated home office space for working remotely. Strong written and verbal communication skills and being detail oriented is a must. Work closely with our Transit Instructors and be available to answer question both in house and client calls. Ability to self-manage.
