Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities:Lead vehicle acceptance reviews and ensure adherence to and health of acceptance processEstablish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes that support products in development and production environmentsMeasure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goalsIntegrate quality system applications between engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure the consistent and ongoing use of quality best practices and communication of quality issuesLead Material Review Board meetings for major nonconformance'sReview and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance recordsPerform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100Facilitate troubleshooting of quality issues with diverse teams, lead causal analysis activities to drive to root cause and corrective actionRecommend and improve initiatives and/or changes that will improve product and system qualityCollaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awarenessProvide Quality support on multiple programs and work centers acrossQualifications:Minimum of a B.S. in engineering/science or 8 years of Quality, Engineering and/or Manufacturing experience in an aviation/aerospace manufacturing environmentKnowledge of AS9100 or ISO9000 QMS and/or related quality systems and programsExcellent communication skills, organized, attention to detail, and self-starterExperience with Root Cause Corrective Actions, Process Improvements, and/or KaizensExperience with GD&T fundamentalsAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:Background in quality inspection and inspection tool capabilitiesBackground in Avionics and Harnessing in aviation/aerospace environmentSix Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certificationPMP or Project Management CertificateMaterial Review Board (MRB) experienceQMS audit experience and quality performance measurement analysis capabilitiesShown experience within a start-up environment, transitioning a product from development, through production to operationsAmerican Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certificationITAR RequirementsTo conform to
