Description of Role The night Maintenance Engineer is responsible for providing support for production through preventative maintenance, facilities repair, and process improvement. The night Maintenance Engineer is a hands-on role that is crucial for the streamlined production of our fine dairy products. This role is perfect if you are a night owl who has solid industrial mechanic experience. Our benefits are best in class & pay is competitive. Schedule: Graveyard, Five 8 hour days per week will include one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), start time between 8pm and 11pm (TBD). • Perform preventative maintenance of fluid dairy packaging and HTST equipment as well as warehouse infrastructure. Refrigeration experience is a plus. • Repair processing and production equipment as necessary • Perform repairs to building and utilities • Respond to spills for cleanup and pollution prevention • Attendance and punctuality are key to being successful in this roll. • Participate in process improvement activities. Qualifications: • Regulated food manufacturing environment work experience (1 year) • 3 to 5 years industrial maintenance experience • Ability to understand written procedures and schematic diagrams • Ability to work in accordance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards, policies and guidelines • PLC troubleshooting and programming is a plus • Welding and fabrication skills is a plus Physical Requirements: • Frequently lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds • Able to work from ladders and/or elevated equipment • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, climb and crouch • Must be able to work in varying heating/cooling conditions (30-90degrees F) SQF: Maintains current Good Manufacturing Practices -and- Notifies supervisor of potential food safety issues This is a safety sensitive position. We do preemployment drug tests, including THC.
