Day Shift: $25.00

Swing Shift: $25.00 with $1.25 shift differential

Graveyard shift: $25/hr with $1.00 shift differential

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring Machine Tenders/Machine Operator in our food manufacturing plant in Kent, WA . As a Machine Tender/Machine Operator , you will report to the shift supervisor and work alongside a team of 235+ team members.

Job Specifications:

– Job Type: Full-time

– Pay Rate: Hourly Rate: $25.00 with shift differential

– Shifts:

– Day: 5:30am-2pm

– Swing: 1:30pm-10pm

– Grave: 9:30pm-6am

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Observe the color of baked batter on the grill conveyor to detect any deviations.

– Monitor the quality of the product and remove substandard items.

– Monitor the flow of the product and adjust controls to maintain the speed and temperature of the conveyor grill.

– Record information regarding process speed, waste, and weight.

– Check the temperature of egg whites and products coming out of the cooker and freezer.

– Monitor internal temperatures for the Cook and Chill step, ensuring compliance with HACCP critical control points.

– Understand and adhere to Safety, Food Safety SQF, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

– Clean and sanitize workstation equipment, such as cookers, depositors, conveyors, floors, and walls, following PPE requirements.

– Follow ladder safety guidelines and ensure proper water and drain management.

– Report any food safety issues or concerns to supervisors, management, or authorized personnel.

– Perform other production-specific duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

– 1-2 years of food manufacturing experience.

– Adherence to work, quality, and productivity standards as per plant requirements.

– Excellent attendance record.

– Strong communication skills to interact with peers, leadership, team members, customers, and clients.

– Proactive mindset to improve performance, work processes, and contribute new ideas.

– Willingness to work varying hours and shifts, with occasional to frequent overtime, as per production and plant requirements.
