Aerotek Machine Operator in Kent, Washington

Aerospace manufacturing company is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team! Description: Must Haves: 1. Previous experience using a band saw (they're cutting steel)2. Ability and experience operating a sit-down forklift3. Must be able to read a tape measure4. Visual Quality Control Skills: Machine Operator, Metal Fabrication, Aerospace, Saw Additional Skills & Qualifications: *Strong attendance and work history with regards to tenure. *Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order specifications. *Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. *Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. *Complete all required information entry accurately. Perform any other tasks as assigned. Machine operators learn to run our aluminum saws ranging from 4'-20' long cuts. We cut .019 to 10" material. Attributes include attention to detail, ability to work on your feet, read a tape measure, good with paperwork and chain of custody. I'll try to find an actual job description to send you as well. If someone is comfortable working in a warehouse environment as well as operating machinery, then we can do the training and such. First week on the job is mostly classroom training and then they are paired up with an experienced trainer / operator until they are good to work on their own. First shift: 4:30am-3pm Monday-Thursday (4/10's).Some OT Friday 4:30a-3:00p or shorter as required. Experience Level: Entry Level
