Job Title: Jr. BuyerJob Description

We are looking for a Jr. Buyer to assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other supplies. The ideal candidate will coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs, monitor inventory levels, and stay up to date on industry trends. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong data entry skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other supplies.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods.

  • Monitor inventory levels and provide analysis and recommendations to optimize stock levels.

  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, or quality concerns.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and new products to make informed purchasing decisions.

  • Knowing where to place raw materials for inventory on hand.

  • Monitoring levels of supply.

Essential Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-starter

  • Data entry skills

  • Computer literacy

  • 0-3 years of experience in supply chain, MRP, purchasing, or vendor management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the beverage industry (nice to have)

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Experience with procurement software is a plus

Work Environment

This role operates in a Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm schedule. This position does not offer remote or hybrid options. You will receive normal health benefits and days of PTO, starting with 5 days after one year of employment, and increasing to 10 days after two years. A longevity bonus is provided after five years. Benefits are negotiable.
