Smith Brothers Farms, a leading producer and deliverer of milk to homes, schools, and business in the Puget Sound area for more than 100 years, is seeking an Inventory Manager to join their team in Kent, WA or Clackamas, OR. This position will require bi-weekly travel between Kent, WA and Clackamas, OR. Minimum qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, inventory management, supply chain management, cost accounting or a similar degree. • 5+ years in a similar inventory control/continuous improvement role in a similar food manufacturing/warehouse company. • Able to travel to all locations bi-weekly. • 2+ years’ experience working with external suppliers and purchasing packaging materials, labels, raw materials (not milk or cream) is preferred, but not required. • Excellent Excel and SQL skills. NetSuite experience is preferred, but not required. • PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus, but not required. Essential duties/responsibilities: • Conducts and manages data analysis to continuously improve inventory management, and manufacturing performance. • Creation of inventory forecasting tools. • Inventory physical counts and variance reconciliations • Inventory loss tracking • Supports proper utilization of ERP system (NetSuite). • Manages daily, weekly, and monthly inventory activity updates, stock movement, stock accuracy, cycle count, and space optimization in warehouse. • Develops and implements process changes to increase efficiency through the external supply chain while ensuring quality and safety. • Lead stakeholder on operations team for all external inventory and operations projects, initiatives, and process improvements in coordination with other departments and stakeholders. • Maintain constructive working relationships with all coworkers, manager, customers and business partners. • Safety is an essential function of every position.
