We are offering an opportunity for a Controller in our organization based in Kent, Washington. The role involves leading financial decision making and strategy in a non-remote work setting. The successful candidate will be expected to manage financials and accounting information, demonstrating not only a strong grasp of accounting principles but also a strategic and analytical mindset. Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial decision-making processes and contribute to strategic planning

• Manage and analyze financial and accounting information, providing insights to support business growth

• Lead a team of three, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment

• Utilize leadership skills gained from experience in small to medium-sized companies

• Apply manufacturing industry knowledge and analytical skills to assess and improve business performance

• Engage in costing and labor analysis to support strategic decision making

• Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions to manage accounting functions

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting

• Oversee budget processes and maintain General Accounting and General Journal records

• Utilize strong accounting management skills to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of all accounting processes.

The salary range for this position is $130k to $160k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 4% match and 15 days of paid vacation, 8 days of paid sick leave and 9 paid holidays per calendar year.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing

• Understanding of Budget Processes

• Proficiency in General Accounting and General Journal

• Experience in Accounting Management
