Working in the Electrification Smart Power (ELSP) division, you will be leading the execution of GPG Power Protection Service projects, ensuring that they are executed in-line with procedures, specifications, standards requirements and targets. This is a position with global grade 13 This position reports to Project Operations Director Your responsibilities Managing commissioning projects and field resources on a daily basis. Assisting the Project Controls department to define all project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans. Monitoring and controlling project progress, resources and financials. Identifying and managing risks, while ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Coordinating with the Procurement and Logistics team to procure required services, materials and equipment. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a contact point for customer enquiries and an escalation point for project issues. Your background Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience. 5 plus years of site project management experience. Electrical Technical skills preferred. Time management and organizational skills. Experience work on service projects. Experience managing commissioning projects. Experience managing field resources daily in accordance with the scope a plus. Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites (up to 30 percent). Fluency in English both orally and in writing. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
