Position: Project Financial Accountant 

Job Location:  Kennewick, WA

The purpose of J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. While supporting the accounting functions of a project, this position supports the office with a variety of duties and responsibilities.  The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Set up projects and maintain project billing terms
• Process monthly invoices and statements
• Assist with office financial tracking including profitability, revenue, revenue projections, etc.
• Record payments received and resolve any payment issues with clients
• Assist with office financial reporting
• Subconsultant tracking
• Maintain filing system for accounting records
• Assist with accounts payables
• Review staff timesheets and expense reports
• Support and assist Project Managers with contracts, budget review, client coordination, project tracking, and creatively tailor workflow to accomplish tasks
• Create, proofread, and modify documents using Microsoft Office Suite
• Continually strive for process improvement/efficiency in the position and workflow
• Work as part of administrative team which includes working with clients and general office duties

Qualifications:

• 3+ years previous billing experience and knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Able to work well independently and with a variety of personalities in a professional manner
• Experience using accounting systems; Familiarity with Deltek software a plus, but not required
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Detail oriented, accurate, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensing is not required for this position

Salary Range: $26.00 - $36.00 hourly. Determined by experience
